At Jackson Square, we believe in the power of the community. As proud members of the Bishop’s Stortford area, we actively support local charities, partners with community groups, collaborate with schools on educational and creative projects, and champion inclusive projects. Whether it’s hosting events, fundraising, or creating sustainable spaces, we’re dedicated to building strong connections and giving back to the community we call home.

Package For Milly

Our ‘Package for Milly’ initiative is designed to provide dignified access to necessary products for those who may be struggling financially or caught short, appropriately named after women’s suffrage campaigner Millicent Fawcett. Shoppers at Jackson Square can simply ask any member of the centre’s team for “a package for Milly” and will be provided with a free, discreet envelope containing essential menstrual products, no questions asked. We’re proud to share that nine of our retailers are also supporting this initiative and providing free discreet envelopes. Participating stores are:

Bog Standard

The toilet should be a safe space. We want men living with incontinence to feel confident and supported when visiting the Centre. That’s why, throughout our men’s washrooms, you will find specifically designed incontinence bins for the disposal of such products.

Charity of the Year

We are thrilled to announce our 2026 Charity of the Year is Cards for Bravery. Cards for Bravery offers comprehensive support and comfort to children facing medical procedures, hospital stays and serious illnesses. They provide thoughtful resources such as signature handmade cards filled with messages of hope and encouragement, activity packs, care packages and wellbeing resources that support young patients and their families through difficult times. The charity works with hospitals, hospices and families across the UK, delivering thousands of support resources that provide emotional comfort when children and families need it most. We are thrilled to partner and add extra meaning to our shoppers experience.

This space is available to all local groups, charities, meetings or classes to host events, fundraise, raise awareness and everything in between!
