Donate Your Old Football Boots
Give your old football boots a second life! We’re partnering with Football Rebooted to help save boots from landfill and support local young players.
When: Everyday until Sunday 30th August (9am – 5:30pm Monday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm Sunday)
Where: Collection box located opposite F.Hinds
How It Works:
Bring along any football boots your family has outgrown or no longer needs. Our collection point will be open throughout the day, making it easy to drop off boots in good condition. Your donations will be passed to our friends at the Bishop’s Stortford Thirst Youth Project, who will refurbish them and ensure they go directly to local young players at Thorley Manor FC.
The Impact:
Saving 1 million boots from landfill = 13,636 tonnes of CO₂ saved. That’s the same as switching off the power in 1 million homes for over a week.
