Wild World Heroes – Summer Reading Challenge

10th July – 4th September

We are excited to announce that Wild World Heroes, Summer Reading Challenge 2021, will be running from Saturday 10th July to Saturday 4th September, and Bishop’s Stortford Library are inviting all Hertfordshire children to take on the free Challenge!

This year, families are welcome to collect the registration cards from Saturday 3rd July to complete at home and bring in when the Challenge starts on Saturday 10th July.

Although children are not able to review books in the same way as previous years, they will be able to feedback using a special Summer Reading Challenge ‘Thumbs up/Thumbs down’ sheet to let library staff know what they think of the books they have read. There will also be special Summer Reading Challenge review slips for children to share their views with staff.

The challenge is simple, visit the Bishop’s Stortford library to collect a fun pack and read six books over the Summer.

Children can also collect stickers that will help our six heroes, Carys, Marcus, Callum, Willow, Faiza and David, fix the environmental problems in their cool town.

So, this Summer, grab your bags and take a trip to Wilderville and be a Wild World Hero too.
