Christmas Community Countdown returns!
Jackson Square Shopping Centre is thrilled to announce the return of their Christmas Community Countdown event for the second year running. Aimed at raising awareness and support for many worthy local stakeholders this festive season, the event will take place throughout the month of December ( 1st – 24th ), with a new community partner being celebrated each day.
The Christmas Community Countdown event aims to create a platform for local stakeholders to showcase their work, projects, and causes that contribute to the well-being and development of Bishop’s Stortford and its residents.
“We are excited to launch our inaugural Christmas Community Countdown event,” said Hayley Harris, Community Manager at Jackson Square Shopping Centre. “This initiative aligns with our commitment to supporting the Bishop’s Stortford community, cultivating a sense of togetherness during this special time of the year. We hope that by providing a platform for various stakeholders, we can help amplify their voices and generate support for their respective causes.”
Hosted in the centres dedicated Community Space, December will see Jackson Square welcome activities suitable for people of all ages in the community to enjoy, including donation drives, awareness campaigns, pop up shops and interactive events. Participating stakeholders will have the opportunity to engage with shoppers, educate them about their initiatives, and share how the community can get involved and provide support.
“We believe in the power of community and the impact that can be achieved through collective action,” added Hayley Harris. “By partnering with these local stakeholders, we can emphasise the importance of supporting one another and create a positive impact in Bishop’s Stortford.
