BatteryBack - Recycle your batteries with us

Did you know there's a European Directive in place stating that 25 per cent of all batteries placed in the market must be recycled by 2012? This figure will rise to 45 per cent by 2016. Currently the UK recycles less than 3 per cent of portable batteries, with more than 30,000 tonnes of batteries being discarded every year.

To support this directive, Jackson Square has joined forces with BatteryBack by providing a specially-designed collection canister in centre for its shoppers to recycle their batteries.

The scheme is free of charge and easy to use. Simply bring your dead batteries in centre and drop them in our BatteryBack canister situated at the top of the escalators near the Bridge Street entrance.
